SALES VISUALIZER / VISUALIZER NOTES Show what changed, beside the choice. A revised total makes more sense when the changed option is visible. Explain the difference When a customer changes an option, keep that option and its effect close together. A new total without context leaves the buyer working out what happened. Describe the change in product terms before expecting the number to explain it. Keep a comparison small Focus on the choice currently being reviewed. A useful comparison can show the previous selection, the new selection, and the associated estimate difference. It does not need to reopen every dimension, finish, and accessory on the page. Carry the context forward The saved summary should contain the revised selection, not the earlier one. If another team prepares the confirmed quote, make sure they receive the same product state the customer last saw. Review any estimate assumptions with the updated choice. ILLUSTRATIVE EXAMPLE In a hypothetical pergola estimate, adding side screens changes the sample total from $6,600 to $7,450. The review names the screens and their $850 sample cost. Both amounts remain illustrative and exclude delivery, installation and taxes. ONE USEFUL QUESTION Change one option in your product journey. Is its effect clear without comparing screenshots?
