WORKED EXAMPLE
Worked example: a screen option is replaced
In a hypothetical range update, a buyer’s saved pergola includes Screen A, which is no longer offered. The product team has approved Screen B as an alternative, but its appearance and estimate differ.
- Preserve the original brief and identify Screen A as unavailable.
- Show the approved alternative with its visible and pricing differences.
- Create a revised version only after the selection is confirmed; keep the original reference.
